USA Cricket Adds Athlete Peer Review List; Extends Deadline for All Lists

August 11, 2025

USA Cricket today announced the publication of a fourth peer review list: Athletes Eligible to Vote or Stand for the Athlete Director and Athlete Advisory Council representatives in the upcoming elections. This list includes all players who have competed at the international level for the USA.

To note, per United States Olympic and Paralympic guidelines, only “10 year” athletes-those within 10 years of their last international appearance-are eligible to vote or stand for the Athlete Director positions as well as the USA Cricket Athlete Advisory Council Positions. “10 plus” athletes-those whose last international appearance was more than 10 years ago- are eligible to stand for one spot on the USA Cricket Athlete’s Advisory Council but are not eligible to vote in either election.

During the ongoing peer review process, further validations have resulted in updates to one or more of the previously published lists. In the interest of fairness, transparency, and accuracy, USA Cricket is extending the peer review period for the three previously circulated lists to match the peer review period for the international athlete list:

Individual Members
Clubs
Leagues
Athletes (international-level player list for the Athlete Director and USA Cricket Athlete’s Advisory Council positions)

The revised peer review period will now remain open through August 20, 2025 (midnight PT).

Full eligibility criteria can be found here.

USA Cricket encourages all eligible individuals and organizations to carefully review the updated lists and, if necessary, submit updates or corrections in accordance with the process published below. Only those appearing on the final, approved lists will be eligible to vote or stand for election in their respective categories.
