USA Cricket is excited to announce the 2025 Women’s Conference T20 Championships – East and West, as a part of the revised 2025 Women’s Domestic Pathway. This year’s Women’s Domestic Pathway featured a new Intra-Zonal competition which replaced the Intra-Regional Competition. With the increased number of registrants, USA Cricket moved from a regional structure to a zonal structure, allowing more teams to compete within their respective zones.
The Conference Championships – East and West – will both comprise four zones each with players vying for spots on the East Conference and West Conference teams to compete at the Senior National Championship in October. The U19 Women’s National Championship just concluded in Albany, New York with the Red Team captained by Pooja Ganesh and coached by Subhash Chuttugudishi taking top honors.
The U15 Girls’ National Championship is set to take place in Orlando, Florida as a three-team event from August 8-11, 2025.
The growing female cricket participation, especially among youth cricketers across the United States, has been both encouraging and inspiring. This growth has led to the introduction of intra-zonals, the addition of the 4-team East and West Conference Championships as a new layer of competition in the pathway, and the expansion of the number of U19 and U15 teams competing in the National Championships.
USA Cricket Board Member and Chair of Women’s Cricket Committee, Nadia Gruny said, “Female cricket participation is trending in the right direction for sport in America. With our increasing domestic opportunities, the biennial ICC U19 World Cup, increasing bilaterals, and the incredible support of local communities, academies, coaches, parents and volunteers, we are building the blocks for exponential growth in the future. Thank you to all involved in this critical journey of developing women’s cricket.”
The West Conference kicks off in Woodley, CA from today, June 30 to July 3, while we will see the East Conference battle at the NY Oval in Albany, NY from July 7 to 10.
Celeste du Toit, USA Cricket Women’s Coordinator, expressed her excitement about the ongoing development of the women’s game:
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see the passion for cricket growing so strongly among our female players. The level of commitment, skill, and enthusiasm across all age groups continue to rise, and it’s a clear sign that the future of women’s cricket in the U.S. is bright.”
