India and England are facing each other at Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vishakhapatnam. They are playing the second Test match of the five-match series and on Day 4 India is cruising towards a spectacular win. Rahul Dravid, the head coach of the Indian team is known for his calm and composed nature on the field and off the field too. However, Rahul Dravid was seen having an outburst of emotions after Jonny Bairstow was declared out by the DRS as he got LBW off Jasprit Bumrah’s delivery.

England resumed their innings on 67/1 at the start of the day and as of now, it has been the Indian bowlers drawing the curtains on this riveting encounter between India and England. Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets in the morning dismissing Rehan Ahmed who came in as a night watchman on Day 3 and Ollie Pope who was looking to play aggressive cricket early on following the Bazball approach. Joe Root also followed the same approach but gave his wicket against Axar Patel.

Jonny Bairstow was also scoring at a brisk rate getting to his 26 by smashing five fours. However, Jasprit Bumrah trapped him on the pads which was initially given out by the umpire. Jonny Bairstow decided to take the DRS and the Review showed him being out. Rahul Dravid was seen with animated expressions in the dugout and an outburst of emotions was seen on the head coach’s face.

Rahul Dravid has never been this animated and has always been a calm and composed figure in the dressing room for India. However, the emotions expressed by Rahul Dravid show the pressure that is on India to win this Test match after losing the first Test in Hyderabad by 28 runs.

Rahul Dravid took over the coaching responsibility after Ravi Shastri’s tenure ended following the 2021 T20 World Cup. Since then, he has taken charge of coaching the India National Men’s Cricket Team. He has been coaching this team for the last two years now and has changed the approach in many ways for the players. The dressing room atmosphere has been very delightful under his coaching.

Rohit Sharma won the toss in Vizag and chose to bat first as Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a double century in the first innings which was followed by a brilliant performance by Jasprit Bumrah with the ball as he took a six-fer in the first innings for England. India gave a 399-run target to England laying back on the century by Shubman Gill in the second innings and the hosts are now cruising towards a victory to level the series 1-1.

India has not lost a Test series at home since the 2012 defeat against England by 2-1 when Sir Alastair Cook was leading the England side and MS Dhoni was the captain for India in Tests. The hosts have won 16 consecutive Test series at home and are looking to extend their streak to 17 after beating England in the ongoing Test series.
