Pakistan unveiled their jersey for the upcoming tournament on Monday, May 6, through a video shared on their official social media platform by Pakistan Cricket. The video featured captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Saim Ayub. The jersey features an eye-catching design with an irregular deep green and dark green grid pattern. It has a round collar with buttons, providing a distinct look. The country’s name is positioned prominently at the centre in bold white font. On one side of the collar extension, divided by the buttons, is the emblem of Pakistan Cricket. On the opposite side, there is the official logo of the T20 World Cup, accompanied by sponsor logos on the sleeves. The new jersey, named ‘Matrix’ by Pakistan Cricket, is being hailed as a symbol of unity.

Pakistan in the T20 World Cup
Amid soaring expectations, Pakistan is preparing for the World Cup after their runner-up finish in 2022 against England. Since 2017, they’ve been relentlessly pursuing an ICC trophy and are determined to end their drought. The return of Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim from retirement adds depth to the national T20I squad. Following a 5-match T20I series against New Zealand at home, Pakistan is now focused on a successful tour in the UK before heading to the West Indies. Notably, they are set to tour Ireland and England for three- and four-match T20I series from May 10 to May 30, respectively.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will kick off their T20 World Cup campaign on Thursday, June 6, against USA at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.

PCB’s social media team always finds a unique way to present its content.
BTW, The design of the jersey is looking beautiful. I am surprised, how the designer manages the design with one color. It’s damn impressive
