This remarkable feat marked his second consecutive century in the tournament, taking him just 90 balls to reach triple figures. His earlier ton century came in the previous game against Sri Lanka, achieved in 84 balls. He eventually departed after scoring 109 runs in 106 balls.

De Kock’s 19th ODI century now places him among cricket’s elite. He shares this distinction with other cricket legends such as Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, former West Indies skipper Brian Lara, and Sri Lankan great Mahela Jayawardene.
