Indian captain Rohit Sharma burst into laughter after Kuldeep Yadav turned into a fast bowler during the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 against New Zealand. The 21st match of the tournament is currently taking place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
Kuldeep Yadav isn’t having a great day on the field during the ongoing game against New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2023. The leg-spinner has been targetted by the Kiwi batters and has been taken to runs. But he has bowled good lengths as well.
During the 33rd over of the innings, Kuldeep Yadav turned into a fast bowler and bowled a seam-up delivery. Daryl Mitchell had no clue about it and was hit on the arm hard as he tried to play a reverse sweep. It was a 113.7kph delivery.
As Kuldeep Yadav bowled a seamed-up delivery and hit Daryl Mitchell on the arm, skipper Rohit Sharma couldn’t believe it. He burst into laughter and gave a cheeky smile as well that caught the attention of many.
Coming to the match, after India removed both the openers, New Zealand have played magnificently well. Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra brought the team back into the game and are making sure that they end up with a big score on the board. However, India made a strong comeback as they picked wickets at regular intervals and restricted the run flow. They would be hoping to end the innings on as less runs as possible.

Kuldeep Yadav has made a great comeback in the game after being taken for runs earlier on. He bowled good lines and lengths and checked the run flow as well. He removed the New Zealand skipper as well and made sure that his side was in the game.
Kuldeep Yadav bowled a quick skidder to which Tom Latham tried to flick and went. He was beaten for pace and was trapped in lbw. The Kiwi captain managed 5 runs. The spinner was unlucky as well as he could’ve got the scalp of Rachin Ravindra but the catch was dropped off his bowling.
