Virat Kohli managed to grab the headlines yet again as he displayed a magnificent effort on the field. The ongoing 21st match of the ICC World Cup 2023 is taking place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
Although India have been extremely sloppy on the field, Virat Kohli made sure that he set himself apart as took a staggering catch. It happened during the last ball of the 47th over when Jasprit Bumrah bowled a slower short ball to New Zealand batter Mark Chapman.
The Kiwi batter was undone by the lack of pace. The ball died on the way to Virat Kohli but he charged in and took a staggering low catch. He was even stuck in the ground but he somehow managed to reach there and picked a brilliant catch to send the batter packing.

Mark Chapman managed just 6 runs and it was a crucial wicket for India in the game. He looked threatening in the last game. After his wicket, India kept things tight and didn’t allow New Zealand batters to free their arms. The catch of the Virat Kohli changed the fortunes of India.
India missed quite a few chances in the field today but in the end, it was back to normal for them. Skipper Rohit Sharma picked one as well and made sure that his side was on top after being under pressure early on.

Mohammed Shami was the pick of bowlers as he bagged five wickets. Apart from him, Kuldeep Yadav also picked two wickets whereas Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj bagged one wicket each.
