Ishan Kishan in another controversy, likes Instagram post calling Mohammad Kaif ‘besharam’

Ishan Kishan could land in more trouble for his latest social media activity. The out-of-favor India cricketer has been hogging the limelight for all the wrong reasons in recent days.

It would not be wrong to say that his international career is completely off the track at the moment. It all began when he took a break from the game just before the start of the Test series in South Africa in December. After being released from the team, he was seen partying in Dubai in addition to appearing on a popular television show, leaving the selectors angry.

And while he was expected to be a part of India’s T20I squad for the series against Afghanistan at home last month, the Ajit Agarkar-led selection panel decided otherwise. India head coach Rahul Dravid then made it clear that all is not well between Ishan Kishan and the team management by saying that he is no longer eligible for direct selection in the Indian team.

Ishan Kishan likes a derogatory post for Mohammad Kaif:

Dravid stated that Ishan Kishan would have to play domestic cricket to be eligible for selection again. However, the wicketkeeper-batsman decided against playing in the ongoing Ranji Trophy for Jharkhand. Instead of representing Jharkhand, he went to Baroda to train with the Pandya brothers – Krunal and Hardik.

Kishan faced severe criticism for his actions as many questioned his attitude and commitment. And he could land in more trouble after liking a derogatory Instagram post about former India batsman Mohammad Kaif. In the post, the person could be seen criticizing Kaif for calling Indian pitches flat and undermining batsmen’s ability to hit six on such tracks. He also called Kaif ‘besharam (shameless)’.

Meanwhile, Kaif recently praised BCCI’s decision to make it mandatory for the players to play for their state teams when they are not a part of the Indian team or are injured.

“It is a good decision, I believe it is a bit late. If you are fully fit, if you have recovered, if your doctor has given you the clearance, why to sit at home? You play matches. When you are nothing, the state helps you. When no one knows you, play for the state but when you play for India and get the recognition, you don’t serve your state,” Kaif told ANI.
